Al, Super sweet and friendly pup

Al is a super sweet and friendly pup with a heart full of love and personality! He's about 2.5 years old and was rescued from a high-kill shelter after his previous family surrendered him. Al is looking for a forever home where he can enjoy playing fetch, staying close to his favorite people, and just being the happy pup he is. He can be a little timid at first, but he's incredibly loving and thrives on affection. Al adores his toys, especially playing fetch, and is always up for some playtime before settling in for snuggles on the couch. He's happy in a home with or without other dogs, as long as he receives plenty of love. Al is also potty trained, crate trained, and knows his commands. He's not much of a barker, except for the occasional enthusiastic greeting of the UPS truck, and he's very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze!

Ideal Home

Al would love a home where he can get plenty of attention and playtime. He needs an adequately and fully fenced yard; electric or underground fences are not acceptable.

Ongoing Health

Al is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He is kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

Training & Support

Al is potty trained and crate trained. He knows commands and is not a barker, except when the UPS truck arrives. His food motivation makes him a great candidate for continued training.

Transporation

Al is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, including Canada, for the right home. Out-of-town transport fees can range from $150 to $350 depending on the destination.
