Misty

Meet Misty! This sweet 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix has a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. She’s on the quiet and shy side at first, but once she warms up to you, she's pure sweetness. Misty coexists politely with cats and makes friends with other dogs without a fuss. She is probably best suited for a home with children who are past the energetic "screeching years."

Ideal Home

Misty would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She needs a family who understands that quiet dogs are often the very best kind and can offer her kindness, patience, and time to bloom. A comfy sofa to relax on would be a wonderful bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this sounds concerning, it simply means she cannot use a collar with a leash. A chest-type harness is necessary for her safety and comfort for life. Aside from an occasional cough if the harness isn't fitted correctly, this condition is not an issue.

Training & Support
