Selma

Selma is an incredibly sweet and loving 6-year-old, 65-pound Spaniel Mix female. She's a complete angel who was rescued by TAP after needing medical intervention for her eyes, which resulted in her being blind. Despite this, Selma is the happiest and sweetest girl, doing remarkably well and grateful for her second chance. She can be alerted to stairs with the word 'step' and to people approaching with the word 'friend.' Her favorite activities include cuddling, going on walks, sniffing plants and flowers, rolling in grass, sunbathing, going on car rides to the beach or in nature, and getting treats! Selma is kid-friendly and incredibly loving to all humans she meets. She is crate, leash, and potty-trained, and doesn't show symptoms of separation anxiety.

Ideal Home

Selma is looking for a mellow home with lots of love and cuddles. She's an easy-going, low-energy gal who would do best in any environment where she receives plenty of affection and love, and would do great in a home with a cozy sunbathing spot. She is not a big fan of other dogs and can be social in restaurants and cafes as long as dogs don't close in on her.

Ongoing Health

Selma is blind and has lost both of her eyes. She has been spayed.

Training & Support

Selma is good with bathroom, crate, and leash training. She can be alerted to stairs with 'step' and people approaching with 'friend.'
