Sweetie - Quiet, a Sensitive Soul Girl who's Great with Dogs!

Sweetie is a shy, tan Lab mix with the cutest little nub tail and the kindest eyes that show she’s been through more than she should have. She's about 1 year old and weighs around 45 pounds. Sweetie is still young, growing, and learning what it feels like to truly be safe. She enjoys walks and does wonderfully with the resident dogs in her foster home. Having other dogs around helps her feel secure, and she takes comfort in following their lead. Cats are still a question mark for her. It’s likely Sweetie experienced abuse, as she can be fearful around people. However, she is trying so hard and has already started to slowly come closer, showing small but meaningful signs of trust. With patience, gentle routines, and time, Sweetie will continue to blossom. Despite her past, Sweetie is already doing so many things right. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and rides well in the car, especially with the other dogs. She is a quiet, sensitive soul learning that humans can be kind and that home can be a place of comfort.

Sweetie would do best with a calm, understanding home that will let her move at her own pace. A dog-friendly home would be a big plus for her confidence.

Sweetie is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines.
