Ms. Survivor Hopper ( Tripaw)

My name is Hopper, and I'm a sweet 2.5-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd mix. I'm a bit of a survivor, and while I may only have three legs, my heart is full of love. I can be a little shy at first because my past has been a bit bumpy, and new things can make me nervous. Loud noises, new places, and strangers can be a lot for me, so I might watch you from a distance or hide behind another dog. I just need a little time to feel safe and comfortable, and I promise, once I do, I'll be the most devoted companion you've ever met. I'll follow you around, cuddle up, and lean into you for comfort and belly rubs. I don't need to be the center of attention; I just want to be close to my favorite people.

Ideal Home

I dream of a home with another friendly dog, big or small, who can be my brave buddy. My canine sibling can show me the ropes, help me explore, and remind me that the world is a safe and fun place. I love other dogs and they truly help me feel more confident.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. I navigate the world perfectly well on my three legs!

Training & Support

I am house-trained. Because I can be a bit fearful initially, patience and gentle introductions are key. Earning my trust is important, and once you do, you'll have my whole heart. I'm motivated by toys and treats, which can be great for building our bond.

I am currently being fostered in Toronto. I am able to travel to other provinces, including British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon, if the perfect adopter is found.
