Meet Violet! This 1.5-year-old sweetheart is as loyal as they come, ready to shower her forever family with love. Violet has overcome so much, found roaming the streets of Houston, TX, but her past hasn't dimmed her spirit. She's a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface to be close to you, and her tongue is often out in a happy grin. She's also incredibly loyal and loves a good game of tug-of-war, especially with the hose! While she's a bit scared of loud noises, especially squeaky toys, her resilience and capacity for trust are truly inspiring. Violet has been a star at adoption events, meeting new people and dogs with growing confidence.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter committed to continuing her training to help build her confidence. A canine companion would be a great addition, as she gains confidence from other dogs. While she's generally kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of very loud little ones.

Violet is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows "sit" and is making excellent progress with place and crate training.
