Fern

Fern is a gorgeous Australian Shepherd mix with a heart of gold! She came to us in May 2026 around 6 months old, along with her companion, Rumble. They sadly became homeless after their owner was incarcerated, but it appears they were well-cared for prior to this. Fern's birthday is November 20, 2025, making her a young and energetic pup ready for adventure. She's a fun-loving and intelligent dog who is currently in a foster home receiving professional training. As a working breed mix, Fern thrives on activity and mental stimulation and is definitely not a couch potato!

Ideal Home

Fern needs an active family who can provide her with plenty of activities and opportunities to use her smarts and energy. She's looking for a home that understands the needs of a working breed and can keep her engaged and happy.

Ongoing Health

Fern is up-to-date on her vetting, which includes four Parvo/distemper shots, two Lepto shots, rabies, Bordetella, spay surgery, and a microchip. She has also tested negative for heartworms and is on flea/tick and heartworm preventative medication.

Training & Support

Fern is intelligent and is actively undergoing professional training. While she's learning a lot, she will benefit from continued training and enrichment in her new home to ensure she continues to thrive.
