Sadie is a playful and energetic young girl with a gentle heart, weighing in at approximately 26.5 lbs and about 1 year and 3 months old. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with patience and kind affection, she quickly begins to relax and show her sweet personality. She loves to run, play, and especially enjoys hugs and cuddles once she feels safe. Sadie is joyful, loving, and full of energy. She is Balu’s sister, and they share the same rescue story. In October 2024, they were found abandoned along with their siblings in a planter outside a school. They were very young and crying when they were rescued. Since then, Sadie has been waiting for her chance to experience life in a loving home.
Ideal Home
A home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. This is for families with a genuine intention to rescue a dog, understanding the needs of street animals, and who have experience in dog behavior and training, or are willing to hire a trainer. A high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are essential.
Ongoing Health
Sadie has undergone Spay/Neuter, 2 DHPPI Vaccines, Rabies Vaccine, Bordetella Vaccine, Deworming, Microchipping, a 4DX Test, a Heartworm test, and has received monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection. She also has a Health Certificate and a Vaccines booklet. Please note that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period and may not be house-trained.
Training & Support
Sadie is not house-trained. Rescued dogs may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences and need time to adapt to new environments and people. Patience and understanding are crucial to build trust and strengthen the bond.
