Meet Daxter and Koda, a bonded pair of 5-year-old German Shepherd mixes who are looking for their forever home. These two have been together their entire lives and their current family is heartbroken to have to make this decision due to a child developing a dog allergy. They are hoping to find someone willing to keep them together, as they are truly best friends.

Daxter is an energetic and fun-loving boy who enjoys running, playing, and spending time outdoors. He's just as happy receiving pets and cuddles from his family and has an easy-going temperament. He's wonderful with children, even allowing them to sit on him while he relaxes. Daxter gets along great with other dogs and enjoys walks, though he can pull a little when excited. His favorite pastime is chewing on sticks and toys!

Koda is Daxter's mellow counterpart. She is incredibly sweet, great with kids and other dogs, and knows when she's had enough attention – she'll simply find a quiet spot to relax. She also loves chew sticks and isn't above "borrowing" Daxter's! Koda is excellent on walks and enjoys time spent outside.

Both Daxter and Koda know basic commands like "sit" and "lay down." They were found together as puppies and have been inseparable ever since, spending their days playing, chasing each other, and cuddling up to sleep. They are not crated at night in their current home but are comfortable in crates when boarded.

Ideal Home

Daxter and Koda would thrive in a home with a yard where they can run and play together. Their biggest wish is to find a family who will love them as much as their current family does and keep them together, allowing them to continue being each other's constant companion.
