Gina

Gina is an 8-month-old, 56lb spayed female Belgian Malinois mix. She was found abandoned as a tiny puppy, left in a cardboard box by a busy road. Despite her rough start, Gina is now in a loving foster home and ready to find her forever family. She is a sweet, playful pup who thrives on human attention and enjoys the company of other dogs.

Ideal Home

Gina would do best in an active home with someone who will play with her daily. She is a big dog with a lot of energy and will need regular socialization, positive training, and plenty of outlets for exercise, play, and enrichment. She would do well with older children (10 and up) who are dog-savvy, as she can be jumpy when excited. She would also be a great fit for a couple or someone living alone. Gina enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from having a canine companion to keep her company and help her burn off energy. A cat-free home is recommended as she can be too enthusiastic around neighborhood kitties.

Gina is a healthy, spayed female. We are unable to confirm her exact breed mix, but she is expected to be a large dog once fully grown.

Training & Support

Gina is crate trained and has no accidents when crated for up to 8 hours. She walks well on a leash and shows no signs of separation anxiety. She is still in the "puppy velociraptor stage" and will need guidance on appropriate chew toys.
