BRIGHTON

Brighton is a precious little approximately 2-year-old, 11 lb Maltese mix who arrived at a local animal shelter with gunshot wounds to his right front leg. Sadly, the leg was shattered and could not be repaired, requiring amputation. Brighton has adapted wonderfully to being a tripod and gets around with ease, happily hopping into cars and onto the couch. Nothing seems to slow this brave boy down! He is his foster's best friend, follows her everywhere, loves sitting on her lap, and sleeps soundly on her bed at night. He gets along with other dogs and seems to ignore the foster cats. Brighton is house-trained and walks well on a leash. This sweet boy needs a home where he can receive lots of TLC.

Ideal Home

Brighton needs a home where he can get lots of TLC. We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Brighton is a tripod, having had his right front leg amputated due to shattering injuries.

Brighton is house-trained and walks well on a leash.
