Meet Bubba - The Big Sweetheart with Endless Love to Give!
At 5 years old, Bubba has mastered the art of being the perfect family companion. This sweet boy absolutely adores people - especially babies and children - and he believes everyone deserves a little extra love. If you aren't actively giving Bubba attention, don't worry... he'll happily remind you with plenty of kisses and by planting himself right beside you.
Bubba has a wonderfully calm and patient personality that makes him a joy to have around families. He's incredibly gentle with kids, even when little ones accidentally drop snacks on the floor or get a little rowdy during playtime. He loves spending time with his people, whether that's relaxing at home, taking short walks, or simply hanging out nearby soaking up affection.
He's also crate trained and actually enjoys his crate as a cozy place to relax when he's tired or needs a quiet break from all the fun. Bubba is not a runner and prefers staying close to the people he loves most.
When it comes to other dogs, Bubba has shown friendly play with female dogs and has an amazing ability to "read the room." If another dog becomes too loud, excitable, or aggressive, Bubba calmly walks away instead of reacting. Because he was previously attacked by a male dog, we are unsure how he would do with male dogs.
Bubba is currently heartworm positive, but you would never know it from his happy spirit. He shows no signs of slowing down and continues to live a joyful, full life surrounded by the people and children he loves most.
