Millie

Millie is a charming one-year-old Husky mix with ears that are as expressive as they are adorable. While those magnificent ears might suggest she hears everything, they're mostly for adding to her fabulous vibes! She's a professional bed, chair, and spot stealer, an assistant gardener, and a delightfully sassy diva.

Ideal Home

Millie would thrive in a home with children she can grow up with. She's a dog-friendly pup who loves kids and enjoys snuggling on the couch and spending time in the yard. Due to her tendency to jump fences, a secure yard is a must. She would likely do best in a home without cats, as she becomes very fixated on them and will chase them.

Ongoing Health

Millie is currently being evaluated by our vet to address anxiety related to car rides and walks. We are working on strategies to reduce her stress in these situations.

Training & Support

Millie is potty trained and a professional couch snuggler. Kennel training has been a slow process, and we've worked on it intermittently. She is unsure of new people, especially men, but warms up quickly with patience and respect. In typical Husky fashion, once she's comfortable, Millie is very vocal about her wants and needs, using barks, grumbles, and mumbles. A family with experience in vocal breeds or a love for talkative pups would be ideal.

Millie is located at our facility in Northern Indiana. We offer transport to approved adopters within a 500-mile radius for an additional fee.
