About Jimmy

Jimmy, a 1.5-year-old, neutered male Pitbull Terrier mix weighing around 45 pounds, is ready to find his forever family! He's a bundle of joy with two primary modes: full throttle playtime and full snuggle mode. Jimmy greets everyone with a wagging tail and an eagerness to make friends, both human and canine. He's playful, curious, and always up for a game or a good wrestle.

Ideal Home

Jimmy would be happiest in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. While a yard is a nice bonus, consistent engagement and companionship are most important. He'd do well with a work-from-home individual or a family who includes him in their daily activities. Another playful dog could be a great match, especially one that enjoys high-energy play. He may be too enthusiastic for very young children without supervision and has not been tested with cats, but may chase them at this stage.

Ongoing Health

Jimmy is neutered.

Training & Support

Jimmy is house-trained and making good progress with crate training. He can be left alone for moderate periods (4-6 hours), especially with a canine companion. He's still working on his leash manners, as he can pull when excited and is very curious about his surroundings. He is food and praise motivated and eager to learn, so with consistency and some solo walks, he will continue to improve. Jimmy has no known resource guarding issues.
