Tucker

Tucker is a strikingly handsome boy with a cautious soul, and he deserves someone special to help him navigate this loud world. Born around February 2019, Tucker is very fearful of people but has never shown aggression. His comfort zone starts much farther away than most dogs', but he doesn't rely on other dogs for confidence. He's looking for a quiet home where he can be the one and only canine companion, with no children, so he can set his own pace and celebrate every small victory. Tucker is easy to handle on leash, and with the help of some extra-yummy treats, he'll eventually take them gently from your hand. He may not be a big cuddler, but he's a sweet boy who will appreciate a human who understands that trust is a marathon, not a sprint.

Ideal Home

A calm home without children where Tucker can be the only pet. A human who is patient, steady, and understands that building trust takes time.

Ongoing Health

Tucker is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative care, including neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, and deworming.

Training & Support

Tucker is fearful and needs a human who can allow him to set the pace and build trust slowly. He is easy to handle on leash and can be enticed with treats.

Transporation

Tucker is located with Great Pyrenees Rescue Society. Weekly transports are available to the Northeast, and transport is also available to the Northwest, Midwest, and Southeast.
