Alex

Alex is a 14-month-old Corgi-Maltese mix who came to us as an owner surrender. This sweet boy had a rough start, but we're committed to changing his story now! Alex is a smart and trainable pup who is learning new things every day. He's still working on potty training, as he's only used to using pads, and will need lots of new experiences to blossom into his best self.

Ideal Home

Alex would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard (at least 5ft tall) and someone who is home most of the time, as he shouldn't be left alone all day. A second dog in the home would be very important for Alex's happiness and development. He is looking for a patient and loving family to give him his one and only forever home, which could last 14 to 16 years.

Ongoing Health

Alex has been seen by a vet and is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, and flea medication. He has also been neutered.

Training & Support

Alex is unsure of new things but is very smart and definitely trainable. He is currently working on potty training and only knows pads. He will need continued guidance and lots of positive experiences to build his confidence.
