Seppia

Hello world! My name is Seppia! I'm a 2-year-old, 40lb Lab/Hound mix looking for my forever home! I'm a sweet girl that loves to play with my toys and my doggy friends. I'm very affectionate with my people and love to make them happy. I'm a goofy and loving dog under my anxious ways and would do great at a home with a fenced backyard. I would be ideal for a single person that needs a companion animal and just needs love! My adopters are sad they can't keep me but have generously offered to cover my adoption fee.

Ideal Home

I would prefer a home with no kids or older children that understand my space. A fenced backyard would be wonderful!

Ongoing Health

I have some anxiety, particularly at the vet and when being touched unexpectedly. My adopters believe my anxiety will lessen when I have a doggy friend with me. My adoption fee covers vetting, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. I will receive a wellness visit and be up to date on age-appropriate shots.

Training & Support

I am crate trained and house trained. I am great in the car. I know 'shake' and 'high-five'. I can be reactive around other dogs, so slow introductions and calmer dogs are best. I do best with slow introductions and calmer dogs. Once we're friends, we'll be friends for life! I am good about ignoring dogs I pass while walking. I love treats and can typically be distracted with them.
