A little about them
If fun were a sport, Jasper would be undefeated! This happy, playful love-bug is smart, affectionate, and full of personality. He was born deaf but enjoys life fully and bonds deeply with his people. Jasper needs a knowledgeable owner who can provide structure, routine, consistency, and positive guidance.
Ideal Home
Jasper is good with children ages 12 and older. He enjoys some dogs when out and about with supervision, but he should not live with other dogs. He may become protective of one person in the home, so consistent boundaries and thoughtful guidance are important.
Ongoing Health
Jasper is currently on a diet to help him lose a few pounds for his long-term health. Volunteers work to take him on long walks daily. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm and Lyme testing, deworming, and flea/tick prevention.
Training & Support
Jasper is deaf and will need an owner committed to learning how to guide him through life. Canine Cooperative has met Jasper and provided guidance about his needs. Once an adoption is finalized, adopters receive a free training session with Canine Cooperative.
