Ahoy, Mateys! Meet Captain Jack!
We're putting out an SOS for a loving home for our seriously handsome one-year-old Pitbull Mix, Captain Jack! As you might guess from his name and his recent history, this guy is a true adventurer—he was recently surrendered because of his ambitious escape habits. But don't worry, we promise he's ready to drop anchor in a secure, loving home! We just need someone who can outsmart a very clever dog! While he might be a little nervous when first meeting new humans (a good reason to come prepared with tasty treats!), give him just a little time to adjust, and you'll find he is a total softie through and through! Forget the high seas; all Captain Jack really wants is a cozy couch and endless belly rubs. He has successfully co-existed with other dogs, children, men, and women! Talk about a well-rounded crew! He absolutely adores toys and will happily entertain himself (or you!) for hours. Plus, he already knows some basic obedience commands—he's smart and ready to learn more!
Ideal Home
Captain Jack would do best in a home with an extremely secure fence (we're talking Fort Knox levels!) or with a family committed to keeping him safe on a leash for all walks and playtime. He's seeking a calm, spayed lady dog companion.
