Squeegee

Meet the beautiful Miss Squeegee! Squeegee is a special girl who came to us from the US Virgin Islands. She is a special case who will need a special person. Miss Squeegee has a birth defect that affects the use of her back legs, but it doesn't stop her from living a completely normal and pain-free life! She does have control of her bowel movements and bladder. Her back leg paralysis means she scoots on her rear and uses a wheelchair, but she's a happy and active girl who loves to explore. Squeegee is approximately 1.5 years old, an estimated shepherd mix, and fully grown at about 35 lbs.

Ideal Home

Squeegee would do well in a home where her people are home more often than not, or that want to bring her along on their adventures!

Ongoing Health

Squeegee has a birth defect with partial paralysis of her back legs. She has completed 5 months of physical therapy and would greatly benefit from continuing it. She is not spayed at this time, per veterinary guidance. She is prone to UTIs due to her anatomy, and wearing a diaper helps with preventative maintenance of her undercarriage. She does best when placed on a potty schedule.

Training & Support

Squeegee does have the ability to control her bladder and can be potty trained. She knows to go outside. She comes with a stroller and her wheelchair.
