Nacho

Nacho is a sweet 26 lb pup who is still getting used to his long legs! He's a follower, not a leader, and loves to be part of the pack. Nacho can be a bit shy at first but warms up to people and loves receiving attention and affection. He's a smart cookie, already knowing "sit" for treats, and is very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! Nacho and his siblings understand a stern voice and quickly stop unwanted behaviors. They know "sit" and "gentle" in both English and Spanish. While they need to go out frequently, they're doing a great job holding it all night and aiming to do their business away from their sleeping area. They're also learning to go off-trail when they need to potty. Nacho is still getting the hang of leashes but responds well to a whistle. He hasn't quite figured out how to play with toys yet, but he enjoys gentle wrestling with his siblings. He hasn't chewed on things and is more interested in finding yummy food! Nacho has been tested with cats and seems unsure of them, but he doesn't attack, just observes cautiously.

Ideal Home

A home where Nacho can get plenty of attention and feel loved. He can be shy with new dogs, so a slower introduction to resident dogs would be beneficial.
