Meet Wimby, a charming 4-year-old suspected Pyr/Lab mix who is 100% good boy and ready to be your new best friend! Wimby offers the perfect blend of well-behaved, calm, and playful. He's lived with younger children and has done well, even enjoying a game of chase for his favorite stuffed animals before settling down for a nap. However, he has also formed a special bond with his foster grandparents and enjoys a more laid-back pace, suggesting he might thrive in a quieter environment.

Ideal Home

Wimby would love a home with a fenced yard where he can relax and watch the world go by. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and would also be happy as the only canine companion. However, he's a bit intimidated by cats, so a feline-free home would be best for him.

Ongoing Health

Wimby sheds quite a bit, so regular grooming appointments are recommended to help manage this. He is also terrified of the vacuum and loud noises in general. His foster family has found that putting him outside during vacuuming is a helpful strategy.

Training & Support

Wimby is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He also enjoys his crate as a safe space and has been crated when his foster family is away.
