Max

Max is a handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd who is transitioning from an outdoor life to the comforts of indoor living. He's a quick learner and eager to please, already making great strides in potty training and understanding house rules. Max enjoys being inside with his people and is a friendly companion on walks, good with both humans and other dogs. He's also a model citizen in the car and at the vet!

Ideal Home

Max would love a family who can provide him with guidance as he continues to learn about indoor living. He can be a bit of a jumper if he sees his people outside, so secure fencing and supervision are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Max is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and will need to remain on activity restriction until his treatment is complete.

Training & Support

Max is working on house manners, including not counter-surfing or rummaging through trash. He is eager to please and will benefit from consistent training and positive reinforcement.
