Between those long, floppy ears, his beautiful golden-red locks, the adorable freckles sprinkled across his nose, and those perfectly expressive little forehead wrinkles, Zeus looks like he walked straight out of a storybook. He's approximately 2 years old, weighs around 28 lbs, and is likely a Cocker Spaniel mix. Zeus is sweet, fun, and easygoing. He enjoys his toys, especially squeaky ones, and loves to lounge in the sunshine or simply be part of whatever you're doing. He's playful without being overly energetic and affectionate without being clingy.
Ideal Home
Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys and relax in the sun. He is currently living with several small dogs (10-12 lbs) and does well with them, enjoying playtime in the yard but also happy to do his own thing. While he hasn't been introduced to larger dogs, we are happy to arrange a meet-and-greet. We believe he has great potential to be an incredible family dog, especially for a family with older children who would appreciate a goofy, toy-loving companion.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Zeus is a smart cookie who already knows how to sit and genuinely enjoys learning. He takes treats gently and is described as eager to please. He is crate trained and does wonderfully in his crate. Zeus is also doing very well with potty training, with very few accidents in the house.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
