Meet Brownie, a sweet and playful hound mix who's been waiting far too long for his forever home. Brownie can be unsure of strangers at first, but with patience, he blossoms into a loyal, loving companion. He’s smart, eager to please, and now a total trick pro thanks to dedicated training in socialization, obedience, and agility. His favorite thing in the world? Toys — especially anything he can toss or fetch! As a pup, Brownie missed a crucial socialization window due to ringworm isolation, and he still gets nervous around new people. But in foster care, he’s shown remarkable progress and learned how to relax, follow routines, and enjoy the comforts of home.

Ideal Home

Brownie thrives with structure, positive reinforcement, and a patient, experienced handler. He’s looking for a special home with no children and a fenced-in yard is a big plus!

Ongoing Health

Brownie is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Brownie is working on his confidence around new people and would benefit from owners willing to continue his training. ROAR will support his transition with training assistance to set him up for success.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• The adoption fee is $400, which includes all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, and FELV/FIV testing. Microchip transfer is an additional fee.
