Dante

Dante is a youthful, five-year-old dog with a truly happy and affectionate personality. He was found as a stray, but his foster family has discovered he has incredible recall skills and responds wonderfully to praise. Dante knows basic commands like "come," "sit," "down," and "stay," and is currently learning "kennel." He is highly treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze! Dante enjoys casual walks and is a well-behaved leash walker, always matching his human's pace. He is curious and nonreactive in various environments. His favorite form of exercise is running in the yard and playing fetch, though he's still mastering that game. Dante is also a fantastic car passenger, enjoying trips to new places. He gets along well with humans of all ages and sizes, and has a history of playing nicely with dogs of all types and sizes. Dante is a fan favorite among staff and volunteers because of his playful, floppy, and cuddly nature. He loves to show affection, sometimes with gentle nibbles, and is working on learning to moderate his pressure. Dante is ready to spread his love and happiness in a forever home.
