Meet Hector!
Hector is a handsome boy who was found wandering the streets of the Houston area as a young puppy. He was rescued and is now being cared for by a loving foster family while he waits for his forever home. Hector is learning what it means to be loved and is eager to find a family of his own. He is believed to be a Standard Schnauzer and is approximately 5 months old, weighing about 35 pounds. He is up-to-date on vaccines, house-trained, and kennel-trained. Hector loves children, is great with other dogs, and good with cats. He also walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. Standard Schnauzers are intelligent, loyal, and devoted dogs that form strong bonds with their families. They are playful, athletic, and eager to learn, making them wonderful companions for active households. They thrive with positive training, daily exercise, and plenty of human interaction.

Hector would do best with a family that enjoys spending time together and is excited to help him continue building confidence and good manners.
