RILEY

Riley is a sweet girl who has recently lost her home and is now at the shelter, which can be a scary place for a sensitive pup. She was surrendered due to no fault of her own when her former owner had health issues. Riley was reported to be housetrained, crate-trained, and loves to be by her person’s side. She is trustworthy and can be left out when her family leaves the home. Riley greeted her volunteer friends with bright eyes and a waggy body. She is easy to leash up and doesn’t mind other dogs. She explored the play yard and, once she relaxed, was seen prancing around. Riley has a cheerful disposition and a cute little snoot that wiggles when she sniffs, reminding volunteers of a bunny rabbit. She approaches for gentle pets and treats. Riley is a calm and gentle girl and a polite walking buddy. She has shared her kennel politely and mainly keeps to herself when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She enjoys finding a quiet place in the yard to sunbathe. Riley is feeling flummoxed as to why she is in the shelter now and is hoping for a second chance at a furever family.
