Kenai

Kenai is a beautiful, sweet, and gentle 2-4 year old mixed breed girl with an incredible story of resilience. She was found as a stray dragging a chain and trap. Sadly, the trap had severely injured her front leg, requiring amputation. Now safe with us, Kenai is recovering wonderfully and learning to navigate the world as a proud tripod! Despite her traumatic past, she remains friendly, loving, and smart, and she gets along well with other dogs. Kenai is so deserving of a happy ending.

Kenai would thrive in a home where she can continue her recovery and receive all the love and attention she deserves.

Ongoing Health

Kenai is recovering from a leg amputation. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will benefit from ongoing training and socialization to help her adjust to her new life.

Transportation

Kenai is located in White Stone, VA. Transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located on the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
