Cami

Hi there! I'm Cami, a 7-month-old, 10 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I may not see the world, but I certainly enjoy it! I explore with confidence, follow sounds with ease, and greet every moment with a happy heart. I'm excited to find a family who loves my spirited, one-of-a-kind outlook. I adore my toys and proudly parade them around the house. I melt for gentle face and ear scratches and can't resist a little harmless mischief, especially when a shoe is left within reach!

Ideal Home

I'm a mostly quiet girl who only calls out when I'm hungry or need help finding my way. I'm well-suited for a condo or apartment. To keep me safe, I cannot live in a home with multiple levels or a pool, and I will need a fenced yard so I can explore confidently.

Ongoing Health

I have hydrocephalus and am blind, but otherwise, I am a healthy young dog. I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. I'll need monthly preventatives for heartworm and flea and tick, like any dog. As a Cavalier, I require grooming every two to four months and benefit from a weekly brushing to keep my coat smooth.

Training & Support

I am still learning my basics and am working on house training. I ride nicely in the car when secured. Because I'm blind, I shouldn't sleep in a human bed, but I happily settle into my own cozy spot each night. I prefer open, comfortable spaces over tight confinement.
