Meet Dart, a charming little guy who, along with his siblings, is ready to pounce into a loving home! Dart is a mixed-breed puppy with a soft black and white coat that hints at a future of cuddles. He's estimated to be born around February 22, 2026, making him about 16 weeks old and weighing in at a petite 10 pounds. His mom, Buttons, is a small 19-pound Shih Tzu/Poodle-type mix, and while his dad is a mystery, Dart might have some Collie, Corgi, Australian Shepherd, or Spaniel in his genes. Despite a rocky start in life, Dart and his littermates have blossomed into healthy, social pups, thriving in a home environment with children, cats, and other dogs.
Ideal Home
Dart would thrive in a home ready for the energy and love of a growing puppy. He's shown he does well with children, cats, and other dogs, so a home with a compatible pet family would be wonderful!
Ongoing Health
Dart has received excellent veterinary care. He has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated (DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies), microchipped, dewormed, and tested negative on a fecal exam. He is also current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention and has been thoroughly examined and cleared by a veterinarian. His medium to long coat will require regular brushing and grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
Training & Support
Dart is a puppy and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and socialization to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.

Dart is currently being fostered in Texas and is available for adoption in New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, New York, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas. Additional states may be considered if transport requirements can be met.
