Ned

Meet Ned, a sweet 14-week-old cattle dog mix who currently weighs about 20 pounds! Ned is a gentle pup with medium energy, which is pretty impressive for a cattle dog. He can be a little shy when you first meet him, but he warms up quickly and shows his great temperament. He's comfortable being handled and has no resource guarding issues.

Ned's potty training is going well, and he sleeps through the night in his crate, though he does wake up early to let you know it's time to go outside. He loves to play frisbee, and while he can't quite catch it yet, he's starting to bring it back. He also enjoys supervised "bitey face" with his much smaller Papillon friend, but he's still learning to control his playful nips.

Ideal Home

Ned would do well as a solo dog with a loving family or with another canine playmate. He has not been tested with young children or cats.

Ongoing Health

Ned is up to date on immunizations and has been neutered. He is also on flea and tick medication and heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Ned still has a lot to learn! Leash walking is a work in progress, he needs to learn to come when called, and he's in the typical teething phase, so keep an eye on what he chews. He is doing well controlling his ankle nipping.
