Nelson

Nelson is an adorable, 16 lb, 3-4 month old mix of playful puppy and easygoing companion. He's curious about the world, loves to play, and is surprisingly calm for such a young pup. He wakes up about 7 with a couple of yips, spends 20-30 minutes in the yard doing his business and playing with toys/sticks/leaves, eats breakfast, then sleeps or lays quietly at our feet until about noon - already a perfect dog for anyone who works at home. Nelson bonds easily and is happiest when he's with his people no matter what the day's activities entail.

Nelson is off to a fantastic start with his training. He's crate trained and has never had an accident in his foster home—an impressive accomplishment for a puppy his age. He loves training games, learns quickly and would thrive in a home that will continue building his confidence and skills.

This friendly little guy lights up when he meets new people and is especially excited to make canine friends. He's a happy spirit with the cutest prancing gait, an inquisitive demeanor and good manners.
