Violet

Meet Violet! Violet is a sweet, approximately 12-year-old Beagle mix weighing around 20 lbs. This adventurous girl may be blind and deaf, but she lives her life to the fullest! Found as a stray, Violet was flown to safety and is now ready for her forever home. She enjoys strolling in the yard, politely barking for attention, and has an incredible knack for locating fried chicken. Violet's requirements for a happy life include soft beds, fluffy blankets, and plenty of time to roll around in them. She is mostly house-trained with a consistent schedule and regular potty breaks.

Ideal Home

Violet would love a home with a fenced-in yard for her sniffing adventures. She needs a home without stairs, or with a dedicated human willing to carry her up and down like the queen she is.

Ongoing Health

Violet has glaucoma in one eye, which makes her blind in that eye. She will require daily eye drops. She has also experienced chronic ear infections that have caused her ear canals to close, resulting in her being fairly deaf.

Training & Support

Violet is mostly house-trained when kept on a schedule and taken out regularly. She rides well in the car and does not get anxious when left home alone. She loves receiving pets and attention.
