A little about them
Meet Sadie, a resilient Samoyed who was rescued from severe neglect after being found running with a pack of dogs. Now healthy and safe in foster care, she is beginning to show her affectionate, playful personality.
Ideal Home
Sadie needs a patient home that can give her time and space to feel comfortable. She is uncertain around new people and may growl or show her teeth at first, but once she trusts someone, she becomes a loving cuddlebug who enjoys belly rubs, ear scratches, kisses, and staying by your side. An adult-only home is preferred.
She loves carrying squeaky toys, playing catch with treats, exploring outdoors, and watching squirrels. Chicken or deli meat can help her warm up.
Ongoing Health
Sadie was rescued with severe matting and heavily worn teeth after apparently living outside for many years. She is now healthy and feeling much better.
Training & Support
Sadie is working with a trainer to learn that people are safe. She knows shake, lay down, and sit, and is continuing to build confidence through positive interactions.
