Junior is a handsome three-year-old Plott Hound mix with a stunning brindle coat. He's neutered, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative, weighing in at a solid 70 lbs. Junior's journey began when he was rescued from a dire situation at an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina. He's now patiently waiting at a boarding facility for a loving home and has been overlooked for nearly two years! He dreams of the comforts of a home and is eager for his second chance.

Junior is a total sweetheart who loves to shower his people with affection and pets. He thrives on outdoor time and is a smart, athletic, and playful companion. The owner of his current boarding facility adores him and describes him as a "good boy." However, Junior needs a family who understands that he requires time to build trust and needs his personal space respected, as he's not comfortable with close contact near his face.
