Introducing Cookie!

Cookie is an affectionate and loving pup who soaks up attention from humans and canine friends alike! She is a super smart girl who already knows how to sit and give paw. She is very food oriented, so training is fun for her! Cookie is an excitable girl with a sweet, enthusiastic puppy spirit. She loves to cuddle once she burns through her puppy energy wrestling with her fur siblings in her foster home. She hasn’t met a dog or a human that wasn’t her bestie! Cookie is around 1.5 years old and weighs 67lbs. We think that she is a Labrador Retriever and Doberman mix, with gorgeous soulful eyes. As a big puppy, Cookie is not always aware of her size and strength, so she may need guidance when meeting other dogs and humans, it’s all in the name of love and excitement! Since she doesn’t always understand her size, a home without small kiddos and cats is recommended. This sweet girl is a survivor! She was found during devastating flooding in the Rio Grande Valley, having survived 3 whole days on her own. She went through a lot at such a young age, and we are so excited to see her ready for her forever home. She deserves all of the love in the world! This resilient and loving girl deserves the world!

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced-in yard so she can run and play freely. A doggie sibling or lots of doggie play time would be a huge bonus. A home without small children or cats is recommended.

Training & Support

Cookie is fully potty trained and crate trained. She has limited leash experience but is a wonderful listener and loves her treats, so leash training should be straightforward. She may need guidance when meeting other dogs and humans due to her size and excitement.
