Hazel

Hazel is a sweet and gentle 10-month-old mixed breed who weighs around 30 lbs and is considered full grown. She arrived at our sanctuary in November 2025 with her siblings, but unlike them, she has been patiently waiting for her forever family. Hazel is a true shadow, always wanting to be by your side. She's also a water enthusiast, ready for any adventure that involves swimming, hiking, or even just a small puddle! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and has shown no interest in the resident kitties. Hazel is also kid-friendly and would be a fantastic addition to a family with children.

Ideal Home

A home that will appreciate her sweet nature and embrace her love for water adventures. Hazel would also love a family with children or other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Hazel is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and dewormer. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Training & Support

Hazel is house-trained and crate-trained.

Transporation

Hazel is currently located in Texas. We arrange transport to the Central US and the East Coast every 2-3 weeks. Transport locations include: Albany and Latham, NY; Wells and Brattleboro, VT; Willington, New Haven and Dayville, CT; Port Chester, NY; Dayton and Akron, OH; Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA; Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ; White Marsh/Elkton, MD; and Falls Church, VA. The adoption fee of $495 includes transport.
