Meet Elliot, a 5-year-old, 6lb bundle of love looking for her forever lap! Elliot, also known as Miss Ellie, is the ultimate BFF, always ready to cuddle up with you. While she co-exists peacefully with other dogs, she's a one-person kind of gal and would prefer to be the sole focus of your affection. She came to us from a hoarding situation and has made incredible progress, blossoming into a sweet and devoted companion. Elliot does experience separation anxiety, so a homebody who can be with her most of the time would be her ideal match. She’s learning about pottying, doing best when taken out on a leash into an enclosed area. She also has a charming habit of doing little tappy toes when she's excited!

Ideal Home

Elliot would thrive in a home with a dedicated individual or couple who can provide her with plenty of companionship and understand her need to not be left alone for extended periods. She's not meant for a home with frequent comings and goings or long hours of solitude.

Ongoing Health

Elliot has a low-grade heart murmur that is currently being monitored by our vet. At this time, no special treatment is recommended. Otherwise, she is in very good health.

Training & Support

Elliot is working on her potty training and does best with a consistent routine of being taken outside on a leash into an enclosed area. Understanding her separation anxiety is key to helping her feel secure.
