Tucan was found abandoned and alone, waiting for help. Despite his tough start, he's now healthy, joyful, and eager for a loving, committed adopter. He's a big, strong dog with a playful spirit, perfect for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle filled with hikes and adventures. Tucan is incredibly affectionate and looks to his person for guidance and leadership. He's done well with other dogs of various sizes and breeds. What truly shines about Tucan is his desire to connect with people and build a strong bond. Once his energy is properly channeled, he's happy to relax and enjoy quality time with you.
Ideal Home
Tucan would thrive in a home with plenty of space, like an acreage, farm, or ranch. He does not like small or enclosed spaces and is not recommended for homes with small or young children. He is also not recommended for first-time dog owners or those without prior training experience, unless they are strongly committed to learning.

Transporation
Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters in the US and Canada will be matched with flight companions departing from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new companion at the airport. During summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
