When feeling unsure, Snickers tends to shy away, needing a patient and understanding human to help him feel safe and secure. He truly shines around other dogs, where his silly and playful nature emerges.

Ideal Home

Snickers would thrive in a calm, consistent, and patient home where he's given the time and space to gain confidence. He absolutely needs a home with another confident dog to guide him and provide comfort. He is not the best fit for first-time dog owners, homes with young children, or those seeking an immediate snuggle buddy.

Ongoing Health

Snickers has knees that may require surgery as he ages, so maintaining a healthy weight will be important. He is not built for strenuous running.

Training & Support

Snickers is still learning about human interaction and may be timid at first. Patience and understanding are key to helping him blossom. He is good with other dogs and needs them in his home. He has not lived with cats, but can be tested if you have them. He may do well with older, patient children who will give him space.
