Theo is a handsome 3-year-old Boxer mix who weighs in at a solid 68 pounds. He's got a fantastic smile and a joyful spirit that's sure to brighten your days. Theo absolutely loves to play and is a fantastic companion for other dogs. He arrived as a stray, so we don't have a history of his training or past experiences. He's been wonderful with the staff and volunteers, but we haven't had the chance to see how he is with toddlers or cats. Theo has an average energy level, fitting for his breed and age.

Ideal Home

Theo would love a home where he can play and be social with other dogs. We haven't seen him with toddlers or cats, so introductions to these household members should be done carefully and gradually.

Ongoing Health

Theo is up to date on vaccinations and has been tested for heartworm. He has been neutered.

Training & Support

As Theo came to us as a stray, his previous training history is unknown. He's a smart boy, and with consistent positive reinforcement, he's sure to learn quickly!

Transportation

Theo is currently at our rescue in Texas. You can secure this wonderful pup through our pre-adoption process. Once your application is approved and the adoption fee is paid, we can arrange transport to Machesney Park, IL. The adoption fee is $250, which covers his spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipping, health certificate, and transport fees.
