Shadow is a gentle and sensitive soul who is learning to feel safe and confident in the world, and he's making wonderful progress with the right support. He's a medium-sized boy, around 45 lbs, and is almost 5 years old.

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with a securely fenced yard. He needs a calm and patient adopter who understands that building confidence takes time and who values gentle, trust-based progress. Experience with nervous or sensitive dogs would be a huge plus.

Shadow is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Shadow can be nervous in unfamiliar situations and outdoors, and is still learning leash skills. He does best with routine, clear boundaries, and a steady presence to help him regulate. He is house-trained and crate-trained. Once he feels secure, his true personality shines. He forms deep bonds, shows genuine affection, and enjoys quiet companionship. He is friendly with other dogs once he's comfortable and absolutely loves toys, which bring out his playful side.
