Angie is a 4-year-old pittie mix, weighing in at 56 lbs, who embodies the term "house hippo." She's a professional snuggler, a world-class sunbather, and a devoted companion who is perfectly content just hanging out by your side. Angie missed the memo on pit bull exuberance and instead offers a calmer, more couch-cuddle-centric presence. Her foster lovingly describes her as a chunky, built-for-comfort dog with a soft, shiny black coat and an irresistibly smoochable face. Angie is incredibly easy to live with, quietly napping near her foster's workspace, checking in for affection, and enjoying leisurely strolls and sunbathing. At bedtime, she's an "A+" snuggler, happiest curled up next to her person without taking over the bed.
Ideal Home
Angie would thrive in a home with children around 6 years and older who can appreciate her calm, gentle nature. She has enjoyed the company of children aged 4-10, but can be a bit overwhelmed by loud, unpredictable toddlers. Angie is also happy to share her space with mellow, respectful dogs, but would also be content as the sole canine companion. She needs a home without cats, as she finds them too interesting.
Ongoing Health
Angie is a rescue dog, and while we believe her to be around 4 years old and a pittie mix, we cannot guarantee breed or age.
Training & Support
Angie is crate trained and can comfortably stay in her kennel for up to eight hours. She is a quiet dog. Occasionally, Angie has been known to entertain herself with shoes and magazines, but this is easily managed by keeping tempting items out of reach and crating her when unsupervised.
