LuLu

LuLu is a delightful 7-year-old Corgi and Wirehaired Terrier mix, bringing a happy and fun-loving spirit with a personality that’s both sweet and sassy. She’s a medium-energy girl who enjoys a good cuddle on the couch just as much as she loves to play and run in the yard. LuLu is a social butterfly with all adults and has lived happily with older children who understand dog body language. While toddlers make her a bit nervous, she's done well with other dogs, though she can be a bit bossy. She’d do best with a fellow dog who is either similarly sassy or more laid-back and willing to ignore her bossiness. Her compatibility with cats is unknown, but she has a strong prey drive and will kill chickens.

Ideal Home

LuLu would thrive in a home with a single person or a couple. Her ideal family would have no young children or children aged 8 and up who are gentle and understanding. A fenced yard is a must for LuLu to safely explore and play.

Ongoing Health

LuLu is fully vetted, including being spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. She does have cherry eyes that come and go; her vet has advised that surgery may or may not help, and they currently don't bother her. Her skin tends to be oily and benefits from occasional medicated baths.

Training & Support

LuLu is house-trained and crate-trained. She is a bossy girl and does best with canine companions who can either match her energy or are more independent.
