Tinkerbell is a sweet and affectionate 1-2 year old Pittie/Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 43 lbs. She can be a bit reserved at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes an incredibly loving and devoted companion. Tinkerbell enjoys being held, snuggling on the couch, and will happily follow you from room to room. She's also a big fan of treats, with chicken and rice being a particular favorite!
Ideal Home
Tinkerbell thrives in a home with at least one other dog, as she becomes much more confident and blossoms when she has a canine friend. She also did well with a cat during a foster interaction and can be tested with resident cats. She has experience with children aged 8-14 and was very tolerant of their interactions. Tinkerbell would do best in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment.
Ongoing Health
Tinkerbell is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test, and treatment if needed. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Tinkerbell is crate trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners. She enjoys playing with toys and spending time with her dog friends. She is looking for a family that will give her time to settle in and a patient approach to building her confidence.
