Rookie

Rookie is a handsome 4-year-old, 100-pound Golden Retriever who is described as being "all but perfect"! His previous family is sadly having to move and expand their family, and they are overwhelmed trying to give Rookie all the attention and love he deserves. He is house-trained and crate-trained, happily resting in his crate when unsupervised and even sleeping in it through the night without a peep, unless someone is at the door. Rookie is the sweetest and most loving boy, incredibly patient and amazing with their one-year-old daughter. He thrives on lots of love and attention and is very agreeable, even tolerating things he doesn't particularly enjoy, like baths! He loves to explore the outdoors and sniff around, and he gets along with everyone and every pet he meets.

Rookie needs a home where he can receive plenty of love and attention.

Ongoing Health

Rookie was born with cataracts, but his previous owner reports that this has never caused him any issues. He can walk, play, run, and find things just fine.

Training & Support

Rookie is already house-trained and crate-trained. He is very agreeable and generally a well-behaved boy.
