Cody

Cody is a 2-3 year old Labrador Retriever who is ready to find his forever home! He is neutered and up to date on his Rabies and DHLPP vaccinations, so he's healthy and ready to go. Cody is a fun, toy-loving boy who really enjoys playtime and staying active. He came from a home with children and did great with the kids he was tested with, showing a friendly and comfortable temperament. His experience with all children is unknown, but his past interactions have been positive. He appears to be completely potty trained and has not had any accidents in his kennel, which is a great sign for an easy transition into a home. Cody seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, but he is not a good fit for a home with cats. His previous owner reported possible food guarding behaviors, however Cody has shown no signs of food aggression while in our care. With new adults, Cody can be a little standoffish at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his playful and affectionate personality really comes through. He just needs a bit of patience while he adjusts to new people. If you're looking for a loyal, playful companion who loves toys and would do well in a dog-friendly home, Cody may be the perfect match.
