Penny is an incredibly sweet, food-motivated dog who will learn anything in exchange for a couple of treats. She is crate trained, potty trained, and loves to play with humans and love on anyone who will offer a scratch and a kiss. We call her Lil' Bit, but she can't hear it, lol. You can call her whatever you want. Her favorite toy is definitely any type of ball; fetch is her favorite game and speed is her goal, lol. While she's only offered carrots, she'll eat anything! She is very treat motivated and definitely not picky about food! Sometimes, she snores and dream barks while sleeping, but the biggest thing about her sleeping is to remember she can't hear and will get startled if woken up abruptly. A gentle pet on the head and she wakes much happier! She is an early riser, going outside about 6:30 am, playing for 30-45 minutes, and then back to bed for a long nap. She is hilarious and constantly making us laugh. She will roll over on your lap so you can hold her baby-style, belly up. She loves to be in your lap and has puppy-dog eyes mastered! She will look at you with so much love, it would melt anyone's heart! She needs to be someone's main Valentine this year!
Ideal Home
Penny would prefer a home where she can be the apple of her human's eye. She is deaf, but that does not slow her down, and she knows multiple hand signals. She loves to go for hikes and to meet new people. She is most afraid of other dogs for sure, though she is learning and getting better and will sometimes be curious enough about other dogs to sniff calmly behind a gate.

Penny is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Penny is crate trained and potty trained. She knows multiple hand signals. Remember that she can't hear, so a gentle pet on the head is best for waking her up to avoid startling her.
