Jasmine is a lovely 2-year-old lady, weighing around 28 pounds, who is ready to find her forever home! This smart and eager-to-please girl was rescued from a tough life on the streets, where she faced neglect and hardship. Thankfully, she found her way to safety and has blossomed into a confident and joyful companion. Jasmine loves to zoom around with her toys, finds immense happiness just being an indoor dog, and is great in her crate and in the house. She's also a good traveler, enjoying car rides, and has made great progress with leash walking, happily greeting neighbors on walks. After some playtime and zoomies, Jasmine is ready to cuddle up on the sofa for some TV time or snuggle next to her favorite person. She's adaptable and would fit well into many active lifestyles and home settings.
Ideal Home
Jasmine would love an active home where she can get her zoomies out and then relax with you. Due to her past experiences, she can be wary of dogs larger than herself, so a home with dogs under 30 pounds would be ideal. She is great with smaller dogs. Jasmine has shown a strong interest in squirrels, so a home without cats might be best.
Ongoing Health
Jasmine experienced an injury to her front leg several months ago. While she has undergone extensive rehabilitation, she doesn't have full use of that leg, but it doesn't slow her down one bit! She is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. She is spayed and microchipped with lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Jasmine is doing well with house training and crate training. She's also learning to walk nicely on a leash.
